Dear Whoever is reading this,

My name is Alturus Shadowstalker and i am a rogue in service of a great and powerful king. We had been friends in childhood and now i am his hidden right hand. I am his eyes, ears, and swift justice. Would i give me life for my king? Of course i would, because i trust him. Though he gets walked upon by the people because of his kindness, i will be the person to keep them in line and keep my king from being hurt again. The king kept me safe from those looking to punish and remove me from this world, so i will do the same for him.

Sometimes my methods are not always the most honest or best, but i am a rogue. Information at whatever cost. It is amazing the things you can find out when no one thinks your listening. As you stand there in the shadows listening to them tell their stories, you look at them and they see nothing. There is no better thrill than knowing that you hold their lives in your hand and they don't even know. A little poison on a swift blade or maybe sap one of them and kill their friend only to have them wake up and see their friend dead. It's fun to have that kind of power, life is about fun after all. I will leave off here no point in telling all of my stories at once

Signed
Alturus Shadowstalker

And so the king did entrust alturus with a very important task. "Find out who i can trust in my court" alturus nodded and faded into the shadows. He trusted his kings wisdom and his choices, but was there really someone in the kings court that would betray him? Alturus would back his king no matter who it was and they would find the rogues blade more than a challenge if they threatened the name or life of the king. Alturus was burning inside already from the attacks on the kings name made by the once muse. Alturus wanted to go sneaking around that hallway but the king forbid it. Oh how much he could find out if the king would just let him peek, but he would stay loyal to his king and find other ways to gather his information. She was no longer of any importance anyways, just a little girl spouting off about things she knows nothing about. Alturus faded into the night ... tonight would be a good night

Alturus sat down at a table way off in the back of the pub. With his cloak pulled over his head and his cape wrapped around him he was near invisible to the normal eye. He waited for near an hour, until he came through the door. His shoulders looked as if they carried the weight of a thousand mountains but his visage was magestic none the less. A crown sat upon his head and two blades were at his sides. The large figure made his way through the pub and sat down at the same table as Alturus. "good day my leige" Alturus said, The king could feel the rogues sinister grin from under the hood, The king smiled. "what news do you bring me this time my little rogue?" Alturus smiled and threw down some plans of attack upon the kings life. "this will do Alturus ... this will do nicely." With that the king stood up and tossed some gold on the table "drinks for everyone in my house tonight!" proclamed the king. As the pub got loud Alturus and the king slipped out the back, there was much planning to do.

With one last turn the lock fell to the floor. "Hardly a challenge" he said as the door swung open. As he looked inside there were tables littered with books, plans, and letters. His leige would be happy at this find. As the rogue went to the table he heard a voice behind him. "You think we left that door so lightly guarded because we are stupid don't you rogue?" a smile crossed his face. "Hardly, i was hoping this would be a little bit more fun." With that the rogue drew his daggers. "you don't know what you have gotten yourself into" Alturus vanished into the shadows.
